After 30 years of corruption, violence, repression and torture the Egyptian people have said enough. USA citizens have had enough, as well, we do not want my tax money going to support repression and corruption. It is past time for President Obama to tell Hosni Mubarak that the USA will stop sending money to Egypt if he does not step down, and allow a peaceful transition to a more open and democratically elected Gov‘t. After almost nine years of war and occupation in Iraq and Afghanistan, it seems that peaceful protest is what actually works to promote democracy; not unnecessary wars.  Enough is enough, now.

I have mixed race children and it is so important not just for black children but for all children to learn about Black history month. To understand how black people were treated and the fight they had to go though. So that this can never be repeated and to truely understand that no matter of colur everyone is equal. It is about learning from the past and moving forward with love and understanding for all
