Rescind Susan Leonard's Foreclosure

Bank of America offered Susan Leonard of Northern Michigan a HAMP trial loan modification in 2009. After completing her trial payments on time, Susan was told by Bank of America that she would be receiving permanent loan modification documents. Those documents never arrived and after making 25 payments on time, Bank of America sent the 26th payment back to her and proceeded with foreclosure. Susan's home was auctioned on December 21, 2011.

Unfortunately this type of unfair and deceptive behavior is all too common. HSITrust hears stories similar to Susan's every day. Please join us in demanding that Bank of America rescind Susan's foreclosure and prevent this from happening to other homeowners!

If we don't stand up together then the mortgage companys will think they can continue to take advantage of us.

We are going through the same hell as Susan! We also live in Michigan. We made all of our trial payments on time in late 2010 and were modified (with CERTIFIED ACCEPTANCE sent via FedEX'ed) in early 2011! Almost two years after the process began, BofA is attempting to foreclose on our CREDIT BALANCE! We are $7,600 ahead on our mortgage payments! They claim they are "reversing" the modification because of some computer glitch that created this erroneous credit generated Notice of Acceleration. I don't know how they can legally reverse this! Where are all the attorneys? Are they chicken s--t????? (Getting tossed into the original mod was a story unto itself. BofA would not accept our electronic debit payment so we were foreclosed upon!)

HELP! My story is the same accept our loan number for the modifacation was numbered 001. It started with Country Wide and ended with BOA.

After back surgery and the loss of three adult children, I am disabled and raising two small children. We applied for a modification to avoid an increase in the payments from an ARM on top of a HELOC. We weren't even behind on payments we were just trying to avoid getting behind! Now three years later, we are scheduled to foreclose July 14th. We never missed a payment and were never late. They made us re-apply and never sent the permanant documents for the modification we were approved for. After reapplying we were denied. Somehow they claim we are behind by 15 payments and would have to give them 50k to bring the balance up to date. I asked how much the pay off was and BAM....they set a foreclosure date! These guys are crooks and need to be shut down! We are Americans. My father, grandfather and great grandfather all fought for our freedom in this country. That included the right to own property. How is this legal? How are they getting a way with it? We have no place to go. We are all in a fragile state from the loss of our children. THEY DON'T CARE! Mr. Brian T. Moynihan needs to be jailed. Bank of America needs to be shut down!
