      Arab, AL

As some of you know, we own Heaven Bound Christian Bookstore & Gifts in Arab, AL.  Due to the economic downturn, our business has dropped off considerably.  We've applied for home modification loan with Bank of America and we were told we did not qualify due to incomplete paperwork! We've sent them everything they've asked for numerous times. My husband is disabled & confined to a wheelchair 95% of the time.. We've had our home modified for him with a ramp and enlarged doorways.  We can't  just go out and find a place to live that meets his needs!   We don't want a hand out, we just want what's right!

I am an advocate for people with disabilities. I would suggest to ask bank of america for a reasonable accommodation for your husband disability and allow him to remain safely in his own home.

B of A made it's millions by stealing from Japanese-Americans in March 1942 and Californian school children in 1947-48. I'm still waiting for my money. They don't need this house. It will just sit and decay-home to no person.

Because we are going through the same situation with my mother. There are programs in place to protect the disabled, and yet banks and lenders do not participate in them. It is disgraceful.
