The indigenous population of Australia is severely over-represented in the gaols and court systems around the country. The Murri Court offers an opportunity to bring at least a small measure of balance to this situation. It is short sighted and detrimental to Aboriginal Queenslanders to defund the Murri Court.

Because the Indigenous need a better chance and being represented. They would take more notice of an Elder than a man wearing a horse hair wig.
