As Zarah wisely pointed out in her most recent article, whitehouse.gov makes no mention of trade policy. We all know that free trade is a broken system, which exploits millions of people in the name of profit. It is an assault on international human and labor rights and it must be addressed appropriately. Please contact whitehouse.gov through their website to ask why trade policy reform is not part of their agenda. Fair trade must replace free trade. We need whitehouse.gov to recognize this and make trade policy reform part of their official Agenda.

You don't have to just use cyber space. You can phone the Obama WHITEHOUSE at 1 202-456-1414,,,and then leave a comment about this. It is important, I didn't realize it wasn't in the package yet, but probably because Obama needs to learn more about just what should be in it. Now with a new Commerce Secretary things should get moving.  We don't need protectionism...except for our whole little dying planet! e.g. Every country needs to help each other.

Re: Fort Worth Star Telegram Sunday, October 22, 2000“THE DEATH OF A FACTORY”“I’m afraid today the ethos of corporate America is less bound by loyalties and associations than it is by bottom-line considerations. From my observations, the motto of corporate America today is becoming very cold-blooded.”( JIM WRIGHT, former speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives.)               I am an ex-marine from the Koreian conflict plus I worked approx 37 years in aircraft tooling and worked approx 30 years at MENASCO aircraft landing gear in Texas.                A Factory was built In Holland, Korea, and Tialand to produce the landing gear we designed planned and tooled. Our most modern and effencent Menasco was sold and scavenged and moved to other states to destroy the Approx 500 skilled employees at taxpayer expense..               When I saw what was developing I retired early in December 1990 at 60 years with a small pension. I have been downsizing every sense.
