Victory

In less than 24 hours, more than 200 people online and offline forced PayPal India's General Manager(GM) Anupum Pahuja to apologise for their celebration of upper caste pride at an annual event called 'Dum,Dum,Dum' in Chennai. This is what he said "We have removed these references with immediate effect and would like to apologise to anyone who was adversely affected or hurt by the oversight." Anupum Pahuja, GM PayPal Product Development India. Its only because of your support that this was possible.

In a company where people belonging to different castes are working,to celebrate a particular caste which is considered to be a Upper Caste, is an act of insult to all others. This act of 'PayPal' is inducing caste associated pride among young graduates and also initiates 'Modern Untouchability' in the Corporate industry.

Because Casteist behavior of such people needs to be condemned. They ought to know that celebrating Casteism is wrong, there are people belonging to different castes in India, which group does a lower caste associate himself/herself with in this so called celebration. Kindly check that one persons fun does not harm another

Though born in an upper caste family I know enough history of the pernicious caste system in India to totally hate it. I stand up for the Constitutional Values and social equity and justice.
