The anti-tax pledge undermines democracy by removing a politicians ability to exercise free-choice to vote intelligently on issues vital to the economy of our country and it removes an important tool from any legislatures tool box.

This petition is in reference to an atrocity highlighted to me by 60 Minutes. Grover tells us in the interview that the pledge is not with him but the American people, the voters. Thus, _WE_ have the power to release someone, or everyone, from the pledge. I say, we simply tell him. Please sign today.

It's unAmerican and treason to make governmental decisions outside Congress.

While I know those unthinking Republican congressmen who have signed the pledge will not "unsign" it, at least this lets them know how ridiculous some voters think they are.

Norquist and his ideology stands between our country and moving forward. Either extreme is ridiculous, we need compromise.

I believe that this petition is the beginning of an authoratarian, totalitarian, fascist U.S.
