ABOLISH TRAPPING IN THE U.S.A.

Trapping animals is extremely cruel and a barbaric throw back from the dark ages. Trapped animals are terrified, suffer enormous physical pain, extreme emotional distress, are subjected to the elements and predator attacks, become dehydrated, and cannot return to their young who starve without them.

Many times trapped animals become so desperate to escape the torturous trap that they actually chew off their own paw; only to later die of a gangrenous infection.

Non-targeted and domestic animals, like dogs, are often very injured in traps every year, in the thousands.

Most civilized countries around the world have already banned trapping - time for the United States of America to adopt a no-trapping policy.

We need to identify the individuals, the state and federal departments who allow and encourage trapping. Once identified, we must begin to dismantle them if they don't cooperate with banning trapping....Their little cozy jobs, no longer secure....We must go after them with everything we have, public shaming, protests, letter writing to newspapers and legislators, stationary and mobile billboards, flyers, boots on the ground protests outside of the capitol bldg and White House, monitoring of what legislator votes for what bill and make them accountable, we need to have a senator brave enough to introduce an anti-trapping bill and throw all our support behind him or her!!! Other thoughts of what we can do???

    3. Flyer to spread the word....

Easy to download this photo and compose a couple of sentences, generating a flyer and printing it out to leave just everywhere.....People should be alerted about the brutality of trapping and what our wildlife has to bear. They should be encouraged to write to the U.S. Dept of Fish, Wildlife & Parks, and to Ken Salazar, Secretary of the Dept of Interior - expressing outrage that trapping still exists in the USA when it is banned in most other civilized countries because it is extremely cruel.

    4. WE WILL TELL THE WILDLIFE SERVICES THAT THEY WILL BE DISMANTLED....

      Linda Camac
      Petition Organizer

Wildlife is tortured, tormented and suffers so extremely at the hands of hunters and trappers - the wildlife services must start to meet us, they people who pay their salary, half way and BAN TRAPPING....or we will continue to erode the system until the good old boy's club is dismantled!

This is extremely cruel to the animal and its family. Trapping is unnecessary today, Pets and people are also caught. Abolish it now.

This is too horrific, we are a better country than this, aren't we? I am wondering and disappointed with this backwards continuous slaughter. Stop this now.

Because they are God's creation and trapping is so barbaric and cruel. I would like to see the trappers have the same cruel trap put on them with no escape.

Traps are the most evil way to capture anything. Trappers need to try it on themselves.
