Anne WOJCICKI has responded in a very positive way to complaints about changes in the terms of service (TOS) for 23andMe. Thanks to Andrea BADGER for first bringing the initial changes to light and to CeCe MOORE for tirelessly advocating on our behalf. Thanks also to the signers of this petition for helping 23andMe to see it had made a mistake.
If you have a 23andMe account you can see Anne's message at the link. If she follows the same path as with her original message there will be a blog post that everyone will be able to access soon. The initial replies to Anne on the 23andMe Community have been very positive.
Anne makes significant financial concessions on the TOS. She also also makes a commitment to engage "with leaders from the ancestry community to do our best to create products that meet your needs" and "to putting substantial improvements into customer service so we can have an outstanding customer service experience and give you an easy way to communicate with us."
