We got some questions the other day from the IRS about our pending Tax Exempt status. Other people who've been through this say its normal. Working on it a lot. Wish us luck! :)

Hi there Change.org Community! Just wanted to share more info with you about Orange Networking and encourage you to ask questions. ON is a pretty new organization. The idea started several years ago but it wasn't until late 2006 that we became incorporated in the State of North Carolina. Our tax exempt status, 501(c)3, is in the works. We have five board members including myself, a checking account, and have received a few financial donations. Next steps for us is hardware and software testing. I'm purchasing some equipment to build solar powered wireless mesh routers. Then I'm going to put various Linux distros on the hardware to test them out.
