'500 @ $100' Grassroots Fund-raising Campaign
If 500 supporters each contribute $100 - 'Ocean Rudee & Company' will begin to set sail into the hearts and minds of children and young families across the country.
When was the last time that a $100 tax-deductible contribution provided you with that much potential impact on the future? Can you say: "The Presidential Election of 2008!"
If you can find a way to support our efforts with a cash contribution of $100 or more that will be great. If not $100, then whatever you can afford to contribute will be appreciated. It's not just about giving OR&CO money - it's about being part of a community that cares about kids, books, reading, reading-aloud, Imagination Travelin', positivity, joy, new media role-models for the next generation of our children - and a whole lot more.
Ocean Rudee & Company is an educational multi-media program developed for the purpose of increasing children's interest in books, reading, reading aloud, laughter, Imagination Travelin', radio theatre and the World Wide Web.
At this time we're beginning Phase One of the '500 @ $100' - Grassroots Fund-Raising Campaign. Stacey Schuett, our illustrious illustrator from Sebastopol, CA, has recently completed portrait sketches for all of the primary Ocean Rudee characters. In addition, we've partnered with a fiscal sponsor agency, Inquiring Systems, Inc./ISI, (a California Nonprofit 501(c)(3) Corporation based in Sonoma, CA). As a project of ISI we now have the ability to receive tax deductible contributions, business loans and related capital assets, which will enable the 'OR&CO Team' to accomplish a clearly defined series of goals and objectives. We need to raise awareness, interest and financial resources in order to move these initiatives forward into the national media marketplace and beyond - and have some FUN in the process!
