Testimonials

  1. Nathaniel Whittemore IYFC a great partner

IFYC has conducted workshops at each of the last two International Youth Volunteerism Summit's at Northwestern University (now Global Engagement Summit). Each year, these workshops have been extremely highly rated by participants. In the secon year, founder Eboo Patel spoke about crossing borders and brought the house down. The Center for Global Engagement looks forward to future partnerships with IFYC and if you're looking for workshops or other partnerships with groups interested in interfaith work, global change and more, check out IFYC!

  2. Jonny 5 (from the Flobots) Executive Director is a wonderful speaker!

Eboo Patel, the executive director, spoke at my church to a multifaith, multigenerational gathering. His words and work were inspiring to the event's participant, and he also passed on some helpful words of wisdom to organizer (me!).

spirituality is the essence of the true indentity! It is fundamental that our generation continue learning about God as I our grandparents did!!

I support the Interfaith Youth Core because I believe that diversity isn’t enough. We are not just meant to live side by side in silence. We need the tools to learn how to respect others identity and still hold on to our own. Religion and moral perspectives are at the heart of identity, and IFYC trains people in how to dialogue with others who are different and move us from being a simple passive “diverse” population into being an active, committed “pluralist” society.   Even more than this, IFYC offers a chance for young people to really make their mark on this world. By helping passionate young people get the skills they need to organize interfaith service events, and run student groups, IFYC is giving us a chance to go beyond a one-shot project, and take up our places as leading social activists.   This is why I joined the interfaith youth movement, and support IFYC.
