USA for UNHCR supports the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) so they can continue to provide protection, shelter, emergency food, water, medical care and other life-saving assistance to over 20.8 million people worldwide, who have been forced to flee their homes due to war and persecution. When possible, UNHCR helps refugees and other displaced people return to their homes voluntarily, safely, and with dignity.
