  1. Shaheen Bhatti Greetings from Pakistan!!!

    Dear Friends,

Greetings from Pakistan!!! I am a co-founder of a small Christian Social Service Ministry in Pakistan with our own local self help basis.

Proceeding for rights, Peace and justice is really tiring and frustrating very often So I would appreciate the friendship and moral support of a person like you with your suggestions, comments, guidance, advice for peace proceedings and above all the messages of support and hope fore me to be firm with my peace proceedings in Pakistan which is not only an initiative but rather a challenge in a patriarchal society here.

Ahh!!! Getting long mailWith friendship and sharing, I am,

    Ms. Shaheen Bhatti

  2. Melissa Bertolo Witness for Peace Delegations

Witness for Peace is an amazing grassroots organization.  I've been on two delegations- one to Cuba and one to Mexico and both were radicalizing experiences.  WFP helps you understand the economics behind poverty, US foreign policy, and experience the true culture of a country.

  3. Melinda St. Louis Transforming People...Transforming Policy

I began working with Witness for Peace in Nicaragua from 2000-2002 and then as our Advocacy and Campaigns Coordinator from 2002-2004.  In July of 2006, I rejoined the Witness for Peace team as Executive Director.  I am proud to serve the Witness for Peace community because for the past 24 years, we have stood alongside our sisters and brothers in Latin America and the Caribbean who are struggling for peace and justice - and worked for change where it needs to happen: right here in the USA.  We believe that long -term political and economic change requires building people-to-people solidarity and engaging in massive grassroots education.  Join a Witness for Peace delegation to Nicaragua, Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela or Bolivia, and be inspired.  Visit www.witnessforpeace.org for more information about our travel opportunities as well as ways to get involved in your community.

  4. John N Courage in the struggle for justice

Long Term Team, Guatemala, 1991-93; Board of Directors, 1997-2003. WFP has doggedly, thoughtfully, spiritedly, even courageously stood on the side of the angels.

  6. sonja e hoyum Cuba

I went to Cuba with WFP in 2005 and it was amazing. WFP does really good work.

  7. gabriel . WFP Does Amazing Work

The Witness for Peace Labor Delegation that I traveled to Colombia with was amazing!  We met with union and non-union workers as well as inspiring civil rights leaders.  The entire trip was coordinated and facilited by WFP and made possible by their ties within the community.  Can't wait for the opportunity to do it again...

  8. nikki thanos WFP Simply Shines

Witness for Peace runs the best delegations to Latin America of any organization in the hemisphere--on-the-ground field staff, two decades worth of teaching tools/pedagogy and committed grassroots activists make WFP shine as one of my favorite organizations.

  9. Sascha Bollag Wonderful Organization

I have been on a couple of delegations with Witness for Peace and think they are one of the best organizations working to change US policy in Latin America.  I will always support WfP and encourage everyone to do so.
