Conference on Community Information and Communication Technology Use
ITSRG is planning to host a national conference on community use of information and communication technologies at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA in the Spring 2009.
The event will bring together thought leaders, community organizers, scholars, and students to share theory and outcomes related to fair information practices, ethical use of information technologies, innovations and design related to community uses for information and communication technologies, and digital inclusion praxis. The conference will also bring together alumni of ITSRG, Harrison Campus Compact and Geography and Urban Studies programs at Temple University who have shared community outreach experiences in Philadelphia since 1999.
