We need your help to keep the momentum going!  Last fall, over two thousand Americans--including many AFFIL members--submitted comments to the Federal Reserve Board about proposed credit card reforms.  As a result, the Fed's newest proposal is stronger than consumer advocates expected - and consumer comments made all the difference! 

The banks will be working hard to weaken this proposal before it's final.  We've got to make sure the Fed's rule stays strong, and to let Congress know they're still not off the hook.  Lots of Americans still don't realize that predatory lending used to be illegal, and that sound policies can and should protect us from toxic financial products.  At AFFIL we're working hard to raise awareness and push for reform - and right now we're facing a golden opportunity to restore some common sense to credit card lending.
