As a leading humanitarian advocacy voice, Refugees International goes to the field to meet with displaced and stateless people, non-governmental organizations and aid agencies to acquire the most up-to-date information available. Based on our findings, we recommend clear, actionable steps to policy-making institutions and governmental agencies urging them to respond more effectively to the needs of displaced people. We say what needs to be said to those who need to hear it because we take no government or United Nations funding.

We speak for those who lack power and access. Our work increases resources and changes polciies to improve conditions for refugees and displaced people. In this way, we leverage donations from individuals, foundations and corporations into hundreds of thousands of dollars of lifesaving assitance and protection.
