These changes are having a significant impact on the Peace Corps community...not only serving volunteers, but returned volunteers who continue to support projects and stay connected to their host countries of service. NPCA has arranged several meetings on Capitol Hill on behalf of our affiliates and affected members, as well as other NGOs. They'll continue to monitor and advocate this issue on the national level.

Peace Corps sends educated Americans all over the world to act as ambassadors. Upon return, these volunteers then educate their friends, family, and others about the country in which they served.
