We want you to join our band. Let me explain. We are creating a Virtual Super Band of supporters. No, you don't have to be able to play an instrument, just believe and aid us in our cause. It's a fun way to gather supporters. We can even have fundraising competitions between the sections, and when we all come together we can make beautiful music.
We have seats open for our String Section (Violin, Cello, Guitar etc.), Percussion Section (Drums, Piano, Percussions), Brass Section (Trombone, Tuba, Trumpet etc.), Woodwinds (Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute etc.) Simply let us know which section you prefer, and you will have a guaranteed seat. Children and adults are welcome.
So, come on lets make some noise!!!

No idea is too big or too small. Everyone has a role to play.

Guys ! Gals !
I never blew into a flute's hollow
I have no knowledge of Do Re Mi Fa So
My fingers drew back from the bite of them guitar strings
My trombone had no slide-sound to throw
Did I growl?
Did I shriek?
Did I wail?
Did I frown?
Did I turn my back on friends who picked up their instruments?
Did I complain and groan?
No, that could not be,
for my seeking eyes did spy -
a proud, shiny, mellow, instrument
which I picked up with a cry -
God, I bow my head,
For me You have found a place amongst Angelic-Friends -
And yes, before I thought I am not a Player-of-Music - I shoulda known -
You'll make me pick and play - that incredibly fascinating Saxophone !!!
A Saxophone for me pleaaaaaaaaaaaase !!!!
Joins with a wiiiiiiiiiide smiiiiiiiiiiile ...

Hmmm- lets see. It's a toss up between the drums or cello. I'll try something out of my comfort zone- So the Cello it is! The sound moves me.

I couldn't agree with you more in your goals and the general cause. I am a strong believer in raising children with strong musical interests and influences. The past few years, I have been informed by music leaders in our community that our childrens participation in band and music has made a fast decline and no one knows why. We are in the process of fundraisers and hopefully one day a movement that will educate people about how important and fulfilling music can be. I will do anything to help you and this action.
I choose the flute. Iliyana, my daughter chose the saxophone (her first and favorite instrument!)

Percussions: Piano!!
How I wish I could say "Violin", but that would still be two years from now. Sigh. Oh well, dreams are free, right? :)
