Our guests are invited to participate in group activities such as Art Therapy and creative writing workshops, geography and knitting classes, yoga sessions, and homeless advocacy groups each weekday morning from 8:15-9:45 am.
Evening Program
With the opening of our Evening Program in 2010, Miriam's Kitchen will become the first organization providing a consistent indoor dinner and case management program to both homeless men and women in downtown Washington, DC. Guests will be invited to dine on a healthy, homemade dinner and meet with our Case Managers. A Before-Dinner Program will also be offered, allowing our guests the opportunity to participate in therapeutic group activities.
