Are We Living in a Post-Gay World?

I think the conflict between modern and post modern is what is generating all the angst and the so called "cultural war".

Creating an Alliance of LGBT-Friendly Churches

There is a group out there called "Witnessing Our Welcome". I went to the first conference that they held several years ago. It is an initiative to help churches to become welcoming to LGBT people. There are lots of churches that are already trying to educate themselves to become more tolerant and they are designated as welcoming churches. The Unitarian Universalist Church, for example, has developed a whole curriculum for churches to study in order to be certified as welcoming churches to the LGBT community.
