"The federal CSA of '72 says that a state's scheduling of controlled substances is preeminent and trumps federal scheduling."
21 U.S.C. 903 reads: Title 21 United States Code (USC)Controlled Substances Act Section 903. Application of State law
No provision of this subchapter shall be construed as indicating an intent on the part of the Congress to occupy the field in which that provision operates, including criminal penalties, to the

exclusion of any State law on the same subject matter which would otherwise be within the authority of the State, unless there is a positive conflict between that provision of this subchapter and that

State law so that the two cannot consistently stand together."

  • Let American farmers grow hemp!

Please hold President Obama to his previous campaign promise of allowing Science, Facts and Evidence weigh in on his formulating policy decisions. Agricultural Hemp has NO drug value yet, our farmers and all the manufacturing jobs which it could create across this nation is being held hostage due to this non-drug plant being regarded as a Dangerous Drug, a Schedule One designation which it doesn't...... meet on any rationale level. I've done all I can as one lone citizen. The people should flood the Presidents office with demands that he keep his campaign promise to allow Science, Facts and Evidence play a part in his policy decisions. Otherwise, if he is unwilling to keep that promise, as well as give a huge boost to our economy especially when we need it the most. He may lose both my support and respect.
