But have you tasted the water that comes from the tap in the United States?
I am currently visiting in Tennessee and wanted a drink of water. I poured it from the tap and promptly decided I wouldn't do that again. It is terrible. :(
I came across the photographs a few days ago. I cried. It is horrible that birds and fish and other wildlife must suffer a terrible death just because people wish to drive their cars.
I can tell that most people are angry and want to have someone to blame for this catastrophe but doesn't anyone think that's less important right now and that everyone should be focusing on fixing the problem before it becomes any worse and we haven't got any living creatures on the earth anymore? Just wondering.
I live overseas where a lot of people haven't even heard of this disaster and some don't think it's our problem. It's everyones problem because it's our world and it's being destroyed; it'll effect _all_ of the oceans if it isn't fixed.
I think everyone should focus on the problem at hand - the oil spill and how to fix the gushing oil leak and how to save the ocean and wildlife - and who cares who is to blame right now? That can come later or never. Sure, boycott BP, but action is more important than pointing fingers at the moment, don't you think? I know Americans like to blame people for mistakes but it really isn't the time for that. :/
