In his post on Mongabay, Rhett Butler cited several reputable sources detailing many problems that your company faces and has caused. While there is no doubt that the pulp and paper industry is an important one in Indonesia, there is also no doubt that your environmental record can and should be improved. There is ample evidence that your company has in fact cleared HCVF forest as well as forest that has been classified as degraded and yet is still valuable to the animals and people who live there, particularly habitat for the critically endangered Sumatran tiger. There are also many communities who are protesting your company's practices and your impact on their communities. Rather than papering over these facts, why not address the serious problems raised in Rhett's article?Best,
