Sgt. William Palmer said the men beat her until she lost consciousness.Boyne, who told police she is a lesbian, suffered head injuries and was taken by ambulance to Hennepin County Medical Center, where she was treated and later released.Palmer said the case appears to be the first such bias crime in the Uptown area in recent memory, and police have no suspects or witnesses.
