Katie Jares

I coordinate the Skylark Project for Iowa Coalition Against Domestic Violence. Skylark offers services and support to incarcerated survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault through trauma and abuse counseling, offering re-entry resources, and commutation assistance. Outside of work, i'm much too involved in prison reform to effectively separate my public and personal life. I also enjoy fine beers, playing with my corgi, and learning the taxonomic names of insects.
