I am an accomplished business leader with strong local government experience, extensive grassroots experience, a professional background, proven credentials in managing social service programs and a well-cultivated entrepreneur. A native of the South, Mr. Grays has lived in Kansas since 1963. I received a Paralegal degree from Washburn University in 1992 and received certification from the Kauffman Foundation as a First Step FastTrac Administrator/Facilitator/Business Counselor in 2006. I am a former Who's Who of American Business Executives, Community Corrections Advisory Board Member, and Chairman of the Board member for IBSA, Inc. I also provide business consulting and strategic email / Internet / Street-level marketing packages for small, minority and disadvantaged businesses in Kansas.

W. Lazone commented on the article |I am also excited for President-Elect Obama and I know he has some tough challenges and choices ahead. So many people state they are waiting to see what he soes when he comes into office and I remind them that he is only one man and that change we need really starts at home. To wait and see what he does is not fair to him as we are those who can make the most significant change in our neighborhoods and communities. He can; and has inspired us to reach upward to our greater potential. We need to run for public office, enact change in companies where we are the CEOs and decision-makers, we need to be innovative using the local resources in ways they have not been merged together before.
A President Obama can set vision, direction and provide leadership on getting to a destination, but we have to take responsibility in our home town and countryside to make it real. -
