Cheryl Thompson-Draper

Served as a Commissioner of the Port of Houston Authority- I was appointed unanimously by Harris County (Texas) Judge and Commissioners in 2000 and was only the third woman to serve since 1909 . I served 6 years (3 terms) and retired in 2006.

Warren Electric Group/Warren Electric Company--I owned the largest (WBE) woman owned electrical , telecom, utility and automation distributorship in the world for 10 years....with $315 million in sales in 2000. I had 34 locations in 4 states and 4 forgien countries (in the Caribbean). My company(s) was sold in 2002 to Summit Electric (stateside) and Sonapar of France (Caribbean) in 2003.
Currently- I own and manage an Industrial, commercial and residential real estate investment and managment company with locations in Texas and Colorado- Cypress Pony Land Co. and Co- Own with my husband the T bar D Ranch - a cow/ calf, equine operation and we also grow organic pecans and oranges.
