An animal welfare advocate for a long time, I dropped the reins so to speak for awhile because the stress of watching videos, listening to heart wrenching stories, seeing abusers walk away from courts unpunished and the overwhelming futility of trying to change the world for the better for animals began to take a deep toll on me.
That wee small voice that has been nagging at me for awhile now recently reared up and screamed in my ear threatening a 2 x 4 next if I didn't listen up. So without further adieu, I thrust myself right back into the fray.
An accountant by day, an advocate full time and a blogging advocate by night, I have been married for 36 years, have no children and two of the greatest cats in the world.
