You are like the best thing ever on Change.org (you're not a thing but you know what i mean. Your WRITING, spirit, all that)
I wish you could just contribute once a month or every two months just to keep it going.
I hate coming to Change.org. So many horrors of such MAGNITUDE I lose my Equilibrium, or something similar. And when I think of people like you who are enveloped in it day and night, I marvel and shake my head.
You have helped ME save animals. You are a shining pillar. In the dark, people like you light my way.
And also when i'm REALLY down...
I figure this... if someone saves just ONE ANIMAL, they have saved the UNIVERSE for him or her.
It's EVERYTHING to that one precious animal, and in saving him, you have been an angel.
No need to think beyond just saving ONE ANIMAL at a time. What EVER we can do is wondrous. Right?
Otherwise, if we think of the big picture, we may just get too disheartened.
Anyway, I haven't been to change.org very often any more - the site was too slow for me but today it's nice and fast.
Also, I wasn't sure I was doing any good plus I felt like I have too many other emergencies.
You have brought me back on course whether you meant to or not, by reminding me that there are real people behind change.org who have ups and downs, can come and go.
People I really admire and pray all the best for to keep up their incredible efforts. Magical people. People who can trudge through the muck and still shine like stars in the night lighting up the darkest corners of humanity's terrible inhumanity.
Thank you thank you thank you. And Praise GOD you have a blog so you will help animals forever!!!!
Love, love love beyond love. Alllllll the absolute best.
PS: Your pig picture is beyond words. I love him or her with my whole heart.
There is no excuse. You just don't walk away and let over 100 animals just sit there and perish. Sheer madness.
YOU JUST DON'T DO THAT. Please don't run a shelter if that's what you're capable of.
I'm not saying he's bad. We haven't heard his story. And right now, i don't want to... my bad.
But NO NO NO. No more excuses. We MUST be responsible when we care for animals.
If we cannot, then we MUST find them good homes or humanely put them to sleep.
Unfortunately, this is the darkness that is in our world that we have to live with.
On the other hand, maybe there was method to his madness.
After all, this story sure got ME going. I'm incensed. I'm incensed enough to offer more help.
And spit, as well. Yes, I'm angry.
But, I will take that energy and find ways to help.
This story just doesn't add up. WHY would a bank refuse to let people take care of animals locked in one of their buildings???
It makes NO sense. I'm not sure I can believe this story. No offense - but I really want to hear what the bank people say.
Something like, "Well, we just let the animals die in their cages. What's the problem? It's our building and we'll do what we want. Stupid animals. We don't care a whit. Let'em starve."
Just doesn't make sense to me.
The people who work at Wells Fargo couldn't POSSIBLY be THAT MADLY insane. Could they????
This story REALLY bothers.
If true, it's sick. Really sick.
Yup. Totally agree. Wicked.
I'm not sympathetic. The owner has greater consciousness. He's more aware and thus more responsible. I'm more angry with him. But, perhaps he was just in over his head.
But to allow the animals to just sit there and die of thirst?
Unconscienable. I would rather that he killed them all quickly and humanely rather than allow them to suffer a horrific, long, slow agonizing death.
Thirst is a terrible terrible thing to die of.
The bank on the other hand is just a bunch of loonies. They are blind, ignorant, cruel and rediculous not to let people come in and care for these animals.
This whole story borders on horrific. The foolishness of man so aptly illustrated.
As for me, I'm of course like everyone else. Until I were to wear the moccasins, I really don't know the whole story.
I'm just going by what I've read, and we all know there's at LEAST TWO SIDES TO EVERY STORY.
Judgement aside... i guess i'm just upset these animals were LEFT to rot. Beyond comprehension. BEYOND.
