It's not about them necessarily bending to our wishes; it's a an idea, one that seems to have some value, and presented with the right argument could influence their policy. Surely they think about the future of the foundation, and the point being made, which with I'm sure they'd agree, is that they're in a unique position to do a tremendous amount of good, and keep doing it for a long time. So the question becomes how do they maximize the potential positive impact?
