Why is there so much discussion about production instead of consumption?  Focus on the little girls, but never the little boys who grow up engaging this "illegitimate" business.  Perhaps its this approach that makes prostitution seem like such a dirty business.

Great post!  My friends and I are launching an organization and have been hit so many times with that argument.  Believe it or not, I have done my research on organizations on comparable organizations and each time I have found ways that we are unique and have highlighted ways that those organizations, to be frank, suck.

Which reminds me: there is nothing wrong with competition!  There is nothing wrong with a new organization coming along and forcing other organizations to perhaps up their game or reevaluate the work they are doing.

No one would say well, there is already one chain of supermarkets in the city, no need for another one.  New businesses are started all the time and are forced to push themselves to be more competitive.  We are forgetting that when it comes to organizations (both for profit and nonprofit) each one is unique and attracts different people.  Thats why organizations within two blocks addressing the same issue will look totally different.
