1. This is a discriminatory practice against breeds, just as shameful as discrimination against different groups of people. 2. Some of these, like German Shepherds, have historically been incredible service dogs for people with disabilities. How's that for proof that the breed isn't the problem? I dare claim there is little to no scientific evidence that the breed of dog is source of 'possible problems' this county is citing. Rather, it is the social, material conditions that dogs are kept in that matter. And this 'ban' is just another example of abhorrent social policy that does nothing to actually address the problems they're worried about. People in charge should be demanded to be more clever than this - I would call for a ban on such people who can't think critically or have a sense of decency, but that would hypocritical of me....
