Serving on a university Board of Trustees myself, I have always called to attention and questioned the effect any proposed measure would have on our students. And during the unfortunate times at which we've had to endorse tuition increases, it has only ever been after every conceivable alternative - including fundraisers and lobbies in Washington - have been exhausted.
I suspect it would be difficult to cite Goldsteins participation in such activities, for one who so brazenly disregards students safety and well-being when they are attacked for demonstrating against school policies - policies which are, ironically, prohibitive to education - is surely too busy protecting his own pension than he is the students.
One who is so grossly detached from the public has no business holding an office charged with 'serving' the public. Out with the Sheriff of Nottingham - or should I say - the Sheriff of Baruch.
