I have adopted sampling as a philosophy of life: experiencing a bit of everything, trying just about anything once. I am addicted to seeing kids excited about learning, and my dream is to transform schools into places where students choose to be. Here are just a few things that make me happy: reading in Dolores Park on a sunny Saturday, a three-hour meal with lots of dessert, and playing freeze tag with 13-year-olds.
