My parents fled Cambodia in 1980 because of the horrific Khmer Rouge reign and soon after I was born in a refugee camp in Thailand. So I have been on the receiving end of the comforting compassion and unending generosity of relief aid workers and volunteers. In turn, I just want to in some small way repay or pay it forward as a thank you for those that helped paved a better life for me.
