Boony, I ask you to stop using your own slanted opinions and biases to try and make a point. Your comment is nothing short of ignorant - lumping all Christians together and making gross generalizations. Apparently, you have some major issue with Christians, but how about using FACTS and INTELLECT to make an argument. Obviously, there is no way for us to tell whether or not Pam Tebow is lying. If you want a real story, Alex DiBranco, here is one: my biological mother gave birth to me at 18 years of age, while a freshman in college. She was white, my father black, and the thought of having a 'mixed' baby was less than desirable. She could have taken the easier way out by aborting me, yet decided to carry me to term and put me up for adoption. I have an amazing adoptive family that loves me (my parents were unable to have children), I am an upstanding citizen who works hard and affects change, no matter how small it may seem. So, the moral of the story is: when you decide to fix an inconvenient 'mistake,' you never know who you are robbing of life. That is a TRUE statement and whether or not Pam Tebow's story is fabricated, there are thousands if not millions of true ones to back it up.
Christians are entitled to their beliefs, two of which are: the taking of life and homosexuality are sin. JUST LIKE ANY OTHER GROUP, we choose to stand up and speak out for what we beleive is truth, just like any other group. Homosexual advocates and pro-choicers, you speak out and want no objection, and anyone who does so is seen as "narrowminded" or "homophobic," yet you dare to criticize Christians for propagating their opinions? Shame on you. Basically, if you're Right your wrong and if you're Left you're right--does that sum it up?
Mr. Boony, are you having issues with your spell check feature?
Thank you, Robert, for your excellent remarks which are undoubtedly true. There is nothing worse than a person who wishes to spout his/her own uneducated, unfounded beliefs without listening to another side and, thus, is unable or unwilling to discuss them intellecutally.
Why do you think it's a travesty for people to voice their opinion? Just because you happen to disagree with it?
Rev. Boony, what is your definition of a "Bible thumper?"
