Ted, that's an interesting perspective on the issue of schools and "education" -- just how much of schooling is about truly educating kids, anyway? Bravo to the idea of parents and communities innovating to improve or redesign what we consider to be education.
Jorge, you make a great point. It's not all about online tutors and educational computer programs: teachers can strive to tailor instruction for their students simply by paying close attention to their individual needs and designing their lesson plans accordingly.
