Hannah Wright

I grew up near Basingstoke in the UK. I became interested in politics as a teenager, and first visited Palestine in 2002, spending time in Gaza as an international human rights observer. I went onto study Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Oxford University and graduate with a BA (Hons) in 2005. I am now studying for an MSc in Gender and International Relations at the University of Bristol, as well as learning Arabic. As part of my degree I plan to conduct a piece of participatory research in Ramallah this summer on strategies and challenges in incorporating women into conflict resolution and statebuilding in Palestine.
