It's hard to imagine why any LCR would choose to support any candidate who pledges to codify and further legitimize homophobia and bigotry against LGBT Americans. What other issue trumps turning the US into a human rights abusing nation, placing LGBT people as second class citizens, unworthy of equal rights, that would make LCR support homophobic candidates?

US Department of Health and Human Services: Ensure HHS Collects LGB *and* T Data on Health Surveys

As a transgender person who encountered significant provider hostility and refusal to provide treatment for a life threatening cancer I need HHS to be aware of and track the needs and underservice of the transgender population. We face serious obstacles to obtaining urgently needed health care, and documenting these issues is the first, vital step toward remedy of this injustice.
