  TX Still Plans to Execute Hank Skinner, Despite Untested DNA Evidence

  While I can't completly agree with Danny Gibbs veiw on this as far as using convicted prisoniers who are faceing the death penilty as guinee pigs, I can almost see it, that being said I completly agree with everyone who has said DNA testing should be used. My feelings are everyone who has entered the [system] should have their DNA drawn and put on file I think this because not olny would it prove the guilt or innocence of those faceing charges but would also help to solve past unsolved cases. I don't think anyone should play God but an eye for an eye. If you take a life while commiting a crime then you need to answer for your crime. I can't understand why we keep these convicted killers locked up for years on end provideing them  with better care and protecting their rights than we do for those of us who are not behind bars. Dose the Texas dept. of justice along with its Governor realy think that Hank Skinner would be crying out for this test if it would not prove his case and stop the execution? I thought it said prove without a shadow of doubt. Well do so then and set him free or put him to death along with the other inmates on death row,Stop this waiste of our tax dollars. I'll say it again and again, if the justice system proves beyound a shadow of a doubt that you are guilty and sentance you to death then give you even though you didn't give your victem/s the chance. To make their peice and say their good-bye's for a week and then forfill the sentence and free up the courts and the jails. This would not olny kill two birds with one stone as it were, but it would also make people think twice before doing something that would have them put to death. Its time we took back our lives and our streets by sending the message out that all the killing,rapeing,stealing and terrorizing of this country by a hand full of punks is going to stop. Mabe it is time we acted like some of the other countries and do to the gangs and thugs what they do and have done to so many of our people and show them no mercy. Stop all the cozy jail cells filled with tv's, cd players and all the other idems making their sentences just like home. Bring back the chain gang. Make them put their time to use by cleaning the highways or rebuilding the neighberhoods and parks they distoryed. Let the county and city workers do what they were hired for, and by that I don't meen cleaning up after punks that have ruined the places for our children to play but to be able to keep our cities running like they are trained and skilled at. Break out the leg-irons, dust off the sadels and load the shotguns.
