A similar law was passed this year in Colorado Springs (often considered the most right-wing, conservative city in CO, whereas Boulder is viewed as the most liberal). The Colorado Springs law is being carried out much differently though, and no tickets have been issued--yet.

It will be interesting to see how the situation in Boulder affects the new law in Colorado Springs. Hopefully Boulder will serve as an example to the rest of the state- and nation- of how NOT to deal with the problem of homelessness.
