Don't believe in the death penalty---especially when the case is NOT SOLID and folks recanting their testimonies...this our country is about FAIRNESS and HONESTY...and when that's not used in our judicial system, we all suffer.
Since the notion of attractiveness is an individual preference, there is no harm in someone exploring this question of themselves. When the question is asked at the race-gender social identity group level, then I wonder about the hosts of assumptions underlying the question, including the complexity of how race and beauty has been held in the USA. Context is always important in exploring questions like these so I am disappointed at Psychology Today's not setting a clear context, and lack of care in framing the "right" question. As President of a behavioral science organization, I've lost confidence in the publication and as a resource--this behavior feels no different than a tabloid magazine. I'm no longer interested in purchasing their magazine.
