It's so important, especially in the current economic climate, that people realize failure is inevitable, acceptable and an important part of the learning process. Unfortunately, we're drilling our kids at home and at school to fear failure, to despise it and consider it weakness. The truth is... the difference between failure and success can often be pure luck, but more likely it's learning from our mistakes. And how can we learn from our mistakes if we're too afraid to make any?
