  abused pets are supposed to taken to dog shelters/dog pounds to be cared for and treated kindly. If the dog must be euthanized at least show it a little kindness and love before she/he meets her maker.
  A warden committing the same cruel behavior as the people they are rescuing the dogs from have no business running a shelter and they should never be allowed to own a pet. Firing is not enough in this case. Jail time and a large fine should be imposed by the judge or jury. No commuting of the sentence. No mercy. He showed no mercy to the helpless animals left in his care.

  Save Alice A.K.A. The Dog In The Box

  If this does not qualify as animal cruelty I don't know what does. Unfortunately there are ignorant, evil people in this world who regularly abuse and neglect animals, but for an entire county to be so ignorant is beyond my comprehension. Not only should "Alice" be immediately taken away from her "owner" aka abuser, but the abuser should be charged with animal cruelty and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Why the owner/abuser is so insistent to keep a dog she refers to as "It" is suspicious in and of itself. Said abuser has been given a very generous offer from a rescue shelter to take on all care and veterinary bills for this poor animal if the "owner" signs over custody of the dog.
  State officials need to be brought into Toomb county so that they may investigate not only Alice's abuser/owner but so they may also launch an in depth investigation against the dog warden, law enforcement (or lack there of), county officials and judges. Toomb county must be one of the most ass backwards, ignorant communities in the country. If only God would strike every person living in Toomb county who finds nothing wrong with this situation with infertility then the world would be a better place!
