Must Read: Against Love

This book sounds important. Something somewhat along these lines came out a couple decades ago: "The Hoax of Romance." Thought-provoking topic-- as someone who's been through numerous dating relationships and is currently married (and used to subscribe to dreamily ROMANTIC ideals), I can say that I do somewhat now believe that romantic love is a construct.
