Justice for Naomi Whitecrow

This wee girl, Naomi Whitecrow, murdered by her foster parents, people that Naomi should have been able to trust. However, taking a First Nations child, and placing them into a different culture, is a rash mistake, made over & over again! They belong in their own proud culture!
I pray for this wee child, who never had a chance, not while being removed from her own culture, and fostered out to a strange, unwelcome environment.
This horrific miscarriage of Justice, must be addressed, and the woman who murdered this child, should be held accountable, and serve jail time for this wee girl's death, not a fine and a slap on the wrist, but the full penalty for child manslaughter!
We, the people of the world are watching how this case will be dealt with, with great anticipation!

General Manager, The Bear 100.3FM Edmonton: Close the WIN A WIFE contest and publicly acknowledge its inappropriateness

To desecrate women to being "winnable" objects is appalling, and to offer a trip to Russia to "pick a bride" is obviously the brainchild of a moron. Someone who did not take the time to realise that this offer of winning a Russian woman of choice is sexist and degrading, if not down right illegal!
The Bear should stick to what it knows, being a Radio show offering a good selection of music to listen to, not becoming an internet dating service, and a demeaning one at that!
If I lived in Alberta, I would just boycott the Bear, and find a radio station with better music & morals! Treating women, albeit Russian women like objects de jour, is akin to setting womens rights back a 100 years...get a grip Bear, and stop with this degrading nonsense!
