The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind: The story of William Kamkwamba has inspired millions. Amazing young man, and great book.

FWIW, anyone that attended Maker Faire Africa could have spent all the time they wanted with William K and other incredible African innovators and inventors.  He came to MFA in Accra, Ghana from Malawi and was great to see interacting with his peers.

If you're interested in attending (or sponsoring) the next Maker Faire Africa event... http://makerfaireafrica.com/ (and call or Twitter me)\

Who knows, perhaps William will also be at the next event we're having in August 2010 in Nairobi, Kenya.
