I am a humanitarian at heart, I love helping other people more than helping myself. I live and work at home for my disabled mother. I do everything around the house and thensome and take her to doctor appointments. So, me- I take care of but last. I love animals and am into Human Rights and I think it's terrible how the economy has destroyed so many families in creating more homelessness. We're destroying our own earth and killing animals by all the cars we drive and don't carpool. I never thought I'd get into politics but I find it fascinating that our world doesn't know how to take care of itself very well. I think we're all very precious and need to be taken care of, even if we our; gay, homeless, have AIDS, have money, straight, poor or wealthy. It's a necessary need that we need and the government ugh, angers me by letting a lot of pettiness get in the way of our civil rights.

Melissa commented on the article |I agree with this too. I think they need to come up with better ideas on how to decriminalize prisoners and rehabilitate them so that the deterrent rate lowers instead of being steady or rising. I mean think about it, prisoners that sit in prison for years are encouraging other 'younger' inmates to become criminals inside prison walls so that when they are released, it's all they know. Rehabilitation is key.
