  San Diego County Supervisor: Save our Planning and Sponsor Groups

  Planning and Sponsor Groups are the last bastion against rampant development in the back country. Few of the Board know the intricacies of a particular community/area that they may reside over. PCPG's and SG's know what it takes to sustain their area (i.e., water issues, land issues, density, et al). Considering these are elected volunteers, in the case of the PCPG's, this limits the cost to the County for intense reviews. They SAVE the County money and keep the Board up-to-date on problems or issues that the Board could otherwise miss.

  PCPG's and SG's allow community members to have a Voice, a basic American Right. If these important groups are taken away, once again another aspect of America has been chipped away and we will lose more of our ability to control our own destinies.

  DO NOT allow the developers take away our rights to have a voice in our future.
